Course Description: This course is an introduction to the use of the SAS computer
package for analysis using de-identified clinical trial data. During this course, you will:
Instructor: Jennifer Kang, M.S., MPH / Senior Statistician. Jennifer Kang is a Senior Statistician in the Oncology department at Genentech. Ms. Kang graduated with a bachelor’s degree in biology and dual Master’s degree in Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Her graduate research experience includes conducting epidemiologic research on risk associated with radiation induced telangiectasia. Prior to Genentech, she worked with Affymax Inc., to support NDA of OMONTYS, a treatment of anemia due to chronic kidney disease.
Please note the 9th class will be animated by Jian Dai, Data Scientist at Genentech. Jian has a PhD in Theoretical High-Energy Physics and Mathematical Physics from Peking University, Beijing. Jian has been providing quality service to sponsors including Genentech and Concentric Medical and Abbott Vascular in the fields of Clinical Application, Clinical Programming and Statistical Programming. In particular, he was selected to support FDA advisory panels by world leading medical device companies. Prior to his SAS Programming experience, Jian conducted academic research in String Theory and Quantum Field Theory, and worked as an editor for mathematics journals for seven years.
