ClintraNet® to create simple web applications with PC SAS

SAS/IntrNet software is a powerful server-based platform that enable customers to take existing SAS applications and make them available on the Web. However, early stage companies that have limited funding are often relying on a PC SAS license for all their Clinical and Statistical programming. ClintraNet offers a free alternative for applications with a maximum of 3 concurrent web users until they can justify the cost internally for SAS server and SAS/IntrNet licenses.

ClintraNet can now give PC SAS users a glimpse of the power of running web-based SAS/IntrNet applications when performance is not critical.
ClintraNet offers an easy transition path to SAS/IntrNet technologies as it shows the power of the combination of SAS and the Web.
ClintraNet offers good performance up to 3 concurrent users. We recommend to upgrade to SAS/IntrNet for enterprise applications.
SAS/IntrNet development and testing can now be done on laptops or personal computers with lesser power.
It offers a good introduction to students to the power of SAS/IntrNet technologies.

The fundament for ClintraNet consists of a Perl/CGI programming language and Apache HTTP Server. Both components are open source and are available for free.
