The company was founded in 2003 by Ale Gicqueau, President and CEO of the company today. The company is headquartered in Sunnyvale, California. Since its beginning the company was focused on providing quality support services to medical device, biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies located in the San Francisco Bay Area.
While working with these organizations, Ale identified a unique demand from many of these companies which needed an organization willing to address the problems and issues that can arise during clinical trials. He initiated a new style of clinical trial solutions provider that leverages cutting edge technology to develop high quality solutions with minimal impact on the sponsors' management staff under tight time constraints at a price no one else can reach
The company is self funded, employee owned. Since its creation, it has enjoyed organic growth and has been doubling its size and revenues every year since 2007. As a result Clinovo opened a new office in San Diego, California. With one of the largest concentration of biotechnology companies worldwide, San Diego is a strategic location for Clinovo to increase its market share and start expanding its market outside the San Francisco Bay Area.
